Hello. I am a writer, musician, and hobby historian from Visalia, California. A fifth generation Californian, my academic interests include the impacts of mass media and Western frontier ideology on the expanding consumer world order, hyperglossia and semantic alienation in an era of destructive connectivity, and the emergent power dynamics of language, literacy, and imagery in a post-literate society.
